How to order safely with a food allergy
- Check the app first. Sheetz's app shows ingredients and allergens and updates when you change the build.
- Customize on the screen. Remove cheese, sauces and bread you can't have rather than asking at pickup.
- Tell the staff. Ask the kitchen to change gloves and use a clean surface where possible.
- Be careful with fried food. Shared fryers are the biggest cross-contact risk.
- Carry your medication if you've been prescribed it.
Common hidden allergens
- Egg: in Boom Boom sauce, ranch, garlic sauce, mayonnaise and Caesar dressing.
- Soy: in most buns, breading, sauces and many coffee syrups.
- Sesame: on many burger buns.
- Fish: in Caesar dressing (anchovy).
- Milk: in cheese, many sauces, latte drinks and shake bases.

Does Sheetz list allergens?
Yes. The Sheetz app and website show allergen information for menu items, including the major allergens recognized in the US.
Are Sheetz buns dairy-free?
Not always. Some buns and rolls contain milk, and many contain soy and sesame. Check the specific bread in the app.
Is Sheetz safe for peanut allergies?
Most MTO food doesn't list peanuts, but some bakery items, candy mix-ins and shakes do, and cross-contact is possible. Talk to the staff and check the app.
